The print shows the scenery surrounding the Henley Regatta Course and the crew teams practicing before the race with spectators onlooking. The Henley Royal Regatta is a rowing event held annually on the River Thames and was established on 26 March, 1839. The Columbia College Crew team won the main race in 1878. They were the first foreign winners of a Henley Trophy. Excellent condition. Dated July 20, 1878. 15.75x10.75”
