This is an original woodblock print from Harper’s Weekly Magazine, July 16, 1887. In 1887 Harper’s did a series of supplements on “The New South”. Montgomery, Alabama was featured in this one. This large print in very good condition features scenes in and around Montgomery including: The Yost Place, The River Front, The Water Tower, Bit of Old Mansion, The Capitol, Fountain in Public Square, The Government Building and The Convent.
